Stacking rings? Go true-to-size so they sit flush together.
Getting the right fit is easier than you think. Grab a strip of paper, a pen and a ruler — that's all you need.
Fingers change size through the day, so measure in the late afternoon when your hands are at their warmest and largest.
Measure in 4 steps
- 1
Wrap a paper strip
Cut a thin strip of paper and wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you'll wear the ring on.
- 2
Mark the overlap
Mark where the paper meets, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres — that's your circumference.
- 3
Match to a size
Compare your measurement to a standard ring chart. Round up if you land between two sizes.
- 4
Check the knuckle
If your knuckle is wider than your finger base, size up slightly so the ring slides on comfortably.

- Measure two or three times and take the average.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold — fingers shrink.
- Wider bands fit tighter, so size up half a step for chunky rings.
